Hi, I’m the newest member of the Dukky team. I’m a personal finance writer who believes in the importance of:
1.) Simplifying financial issues.
2.) Un-cluttering our financial lives so that it’s easier to make smart decisions and harder to become stressed and overwhelmed.
3.) Making the most of the money we earn.
For the last year and a half I’ve helped build the content and community portion of FiLife, the personal finance site in partnership with the Wall Street Journal.
Now why am I chiming in at Dukky?
I’m here to make sure Dukky makes good on its promise to un-clutter consumers’ lives. Together (that’s you the shopper and me), we’re going to figure out how Dukky can best connect you with the deals you want. We’re also going to figure out how Dukky can help you un-junk your mailbox from all the un-wanted junk mail that finds its way there.
Dukky is developing a new technology for connecting consumers with coupons, free gift cards, and deals from their favorite retailers. Say you like to garden – Dukky will work to make sure you only receive coupons from gardening companies. Dukky’s first product delivers relevant coupons to consumers via the good old United States Postal Service. In the future Dukky will deliver offers electronically via email, social networks, mobile devices and the like.
We should be able to use Dukky’s coupon technology to be frugal shoppers, eliminate the amount of junk mail in our lives, and diminish the threat of identity theft. That’s pretty good from a personal finance standpoint.
I’ll be writing a lot more about the potential benefits of Dukky’s coupon technology soon. In the meantime, please drop me a note if you have any questions or suggestions related to Dukky.
Thanks!
